Collective Worship

At Swinefleet Primary School we join together for daily for 'collective worship'. As we are not a Church school, this statutory requirement takes on a 'broadly Christian' feel, though it is not distinctive of any particular Christian
denomination. Although as a school we have a duty to provide the opportunity for daily collective worship, parents do have the right to withdraw their children from both RE and collective worship and if you do have any concerns, please contact Mrs Thurlow or the school office. 

Collective worship does not necessarily mean religious worship, though it does discuss values and diversity. We believe it contributes to children's spiritual, social, moral and cultural development (SSMC).
